hello friends, maybe it is not a good photo
because for some of you the bird is not close
but for me i love and just take in consideration
that this photo was shot with a small Point & Shoot
camera that has a very small sensor

the bird was more from far, i gived a very important
cropping on this image to have it closer, i also gived
a lightly work of digital noise remove from the sky

this is my 666th photo on TN

from the All About Birds website

« A treat to find in your binocular viewfield,
the Cedar Waxwing is a silky, shiny collection
of brown, gray, and lemon-yellow, accented
with a subdued crest, rakish black mask,
and brilliant-red wax droplets on the wing feathers.
In fall these birds gather by the hundreds to eat berries,
filling the air with their high, thin, whistles. In summer
you’re as likely to find them flitting about over rivers
in pursuit of flying insects, where they show off dazzling
aeronautics for a forest bird. »

Hello Asbed,
Good heavens! its 666th photo! ... Brrrrr! well, it really is beautiful ... has done a good job of PP with the sky ... and that bird has a perfect pose, looks like a jet! impressive achievement despite the distance and how small it looks like the bird with respect to the photographic plane. By the way ... this photo "moves" ... all your photos seem to be moving (the "in flight") but this spread even a little more that feeling! TFS, regards, Jesús

Hi Asbed,

Hi Asbed
Great shot, perfect sky, lovely little bird.

Interesante toma de la pequeña ave en vuelo. Exceso de "ruido" electrónico.
Saludos Asbed.

Hi Asbed,

I like the photo, and you show good composition here. I think that even though it's a small image you might be able to crop quite closely, since it is for the Web--but only if you want to. Nice work.
