Hi All,

Well this was a very lucky shot. Four ducklings all in step. It makes me think that they're at boot camp. Anyway I really hope that you enjoy.

:-) Sweet!
I love this cute scene and very pretty photo!

Hi Erich

Where did you find these babes who I might add are keeping perfect time! Good family portrait. I thought it was too early for babies. Hmmm..... I will have to head up to Shakespear Regional Park to see what I can find. Nice capture, good POV, nice light. Thanks.

Hi Za, this is really cute :) and I like your title, it really works for this scene. Slightly more DOF and flash might help it a little but good shot :)

Hello Za Kiwi, This is composed very well with excellent sharpness, details, colors and light..Amazing foot-work with all four in-step..A gem of a shot, Very well done!

Very nice and funny picture, Zakiwi.
You caught a very good moment.
I like the composition and the POV.
The duck is sharp, pity that the DOF isn't enough for the ducklings but it not easy with a long zoom.
You did a very good job.

Excellent shot and well done on the composition.
All in step, I'm surprised Gert, the duckman doesn't have one.
You did well.
Excellent work.

Mike

Hi Erich, I think you must have "cut and pasted" them all to like that!! :) Just beautiful timing, a great action shot, I can even see bits of sand on them too.
They've hatched early in the season, so watch out you Northern Hemisphere folk, you're in for an invasion of baby ducklings and swans soon.!

Yes Za, this is a very lucky shot. And thank you for your note of humour. The mimic of these four little guys is so cute. A very nice presentation. Congratulations. TFS.

Hi Erich,
great shot, you have a good eye and a quick index finger to see + capture the right moment (again ...)!. Also wonderful warm colours, and the composition well brings out the "story" behind, with the head of the mother positioned up high and the youngsters spread out down low. The half-transparent frame works well to keep the colour theme and keeps your 5 subjects together. It is a tad soft, maybe a higher fstop, though then motion-blurr would probably have become a problem. Looking at the DOF area (sandgrains in focus), you seem to have compromised very well between the two.
Cheers,
Gabi
P.S. Thank you for your email, I was very busy. As you see, I'm "alive and posting", so to speak!
