Once we used to have fig trees and I know that wasp rather well George, not easy to see, let alone photograph with this amount of structural and colouration details. Excellent close up my friend, TFS it indeed!

Hello George,
a fine macro picture of a new species for me.
F16 was not enough to get the entire wasp in focus, I suppose you where pretty close. Very good sharpness with fine details.
Beautiful colours, I really like the blue eyes.
Good work as usual.
Well done, mf.
Regards
Gert

This eye is soooo amazing, George,
wow, this shot is again so special with these colours. Only a small part in excellent sharpness (I wonder at f16) - the parts around blurred, that's pretty, nothing is disturbing from this beauty.
Thanks, that's an interesting wasp I've never seen before.
Bye bye

Hello George,
Amazing macro in superb sharpness. A pity that the legs and frontal antennae aren't totally sharp, but the focus on the head is fantastic. Great POV, bright colours, DOF and OOF BG.
Regards,
Peter

Hello George,
Beautiful eyes your wasp! Not an easy point of view, but focus is where it has to be. And excellent shot looking at the size of this wasp. We probably wouldn't see the beautiful grey-blue eyes in natura.
Regards
Anne

Spot-on focusing. Nice DoF. Sharp with great details.
