Hahahaaaa, I love the title - and sure the shot, this bird is so beautiful with the golden and coppery feathers.
I also love the softness below and the nice sunlight on the beak.
I'm not sure if I would have cutted the nice "hair", but it's not disturbing at all.
Sorry, I realy don't know the ID, I'm realy happy when I find all names of the birds in my own country ;-)
But even without knowing the name of this KFC-birdy I can tell you that this post is again an enrichment in this forum.
Kind regards
Sabine - wishnugaruda

By the way, I always ask myself where you are coming from original - Veltchev - this sounds polish??? I hope you don't mind me asking ...

Hello George,
A few days’ trip north to visit family has delayed my activity on TN!
This is a fine close capture of what might be a juvenile Kagu (a rare species from New Guinea) that hasn't acquired the adult light grey plumage yet. Taken from a nice POV with excellent sharpness, colours and lighting. I assume you took this bird in captivity.
Thanks for sharing this one!
Best regards,
Ivan

Hi George,

What a great picture of a good moment. Good name as well.
The detail is very good and the oranges and red adds nice colour to the picture.
Good OOF background. Sorry, can't help with ID
Great capture and TFS

Hello George,
This is a very beautiful portrait of a Red-legged Seriema, cariama cristata, from south Brazil and northern Argentina. Great sharp focus in an attractive pose. Very good DOF, OOF BG and natural colours.
Regards,
Peter

Hello George,
a very beautiful portrait of this "aggressive" bird taken from an excellent frontal POV with outstanding sharpness, a very pleasing close composition.

Hi George , wow what a photo this one is m great details and depth of field well chosen ,light and color also very nice , most of all though what a scene. TFS & regards
Art

Hi George,
Perfect, sharp focus and natural colours underline your interesting photo.

You could improve the image by not cropping it so tighlty on the sides; particularely - it is a pity - that you cut off the crest on top.

I wonder if you cropped the image so heavily to hide traces of captivity?!?

Have a nice evening
Kind regards
Ingrid

Hi George,

first thanks for your critique.
You know I give no more points away?
When you want to know write me.
This one an amazing shot from these bird, I can't help you with the id.
Exellent sharpness, details and fine natural colours.
Is this real in nature or an zoo?
Gert

Hello George,
Ha ha, horror in the bird world. I wonder if his paw? Amazing photo.

Lucja

Hallo George
With the super sharpness, vivid bright colour and awesome detail and all other technical aspects of this image I cannot find fault and it deserves all the praises given by my predecessors who have stopped by. But I tend to agree with Ingrid that the crop is a bit tight at the sides and in my personal opinion it comes across as if this lovely bird is stuck in a cage and do not have much space (which we know is not the case, but is the impression it gives). I cannot however pass without telling you that what I like most in this image is the natural sunlight, especially where it is shining on the head feathers. That is really groovy! Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Hello George,
Everyone has said it all. All I can say is this is just another one of your stunning photo's!! Never seen this bird before but it is beautiful. Very well done and thanks for sharing.

Natley
