Black Shouldered Kite / The Black-winged Kite
This is a small raptor found in the open grasslands. This a beautiful bird with black wings. It always sits on the top of the leafless tree.
I found this in the Kanha Tiger reserves. Sorry for lot of the negative space in here, but I though this has mad a better impact than that of the full zoom shot.

Kedar, yeh pakshi bahut door hai, Bhai.
For a bird picture, zooming in is necessary.
Though the bird looks elegant even from this distance, we would admire it more if we have a closer look at it.
Wish you better chance next time.
I am pleased to see you back on TN.

hello Kedar
i have to tell you i love this kind of photo of birds
that are small and with them we see their environments,
on this case the environment being the sky, maybe a little
bit more closer (with leaving the good space) to admire it more
like has written Ram, just to have better details of the bird, TFS

Hello Kedar,
what a distance shot. But it is beautiful as it is so graphical and give meanings to the wilderness. The soft blue sky is pretty background and the bird's pose is full of eye contact.
nice simple shot.
