[I am terribly sorry but my english are not good.]:(

One of the techniques which are used in the macro photograph is the reversed lens. With this way we can focus more near in an object, with result macrophotographies with very good quality and basic... inexpensively... With this technique it can be used any old lens - that maybe someone has or can supplied handled in very low prices - making a very good system of macro photograph.

I used a Canon 350D and a lens from my old Praktica, a Pentacon 50mm 1:1,8 (min f/16}.

The reversed Pentacon was adapted in the body camera's with a hand made adaptor.
The automatism of the diaphragm of course is lost and the focus becomes only manual but:
-the depth of field is good
-the camera is light
-in a lot of photographs the natural lighting is enough
-the lens is enough small and does not have problem of shade nor with the incorporated flash of camera...
... and the photographs are very good and clean.

The big disadvantage is that the unique distance between the camera and the object where you can focus are 8-10 cm. Also in the very closed diaphragms the viewfinder is enough dark. The last one is exceeded in one degree if you focus with open diaphragm and after you close it,however it wants an enough constant hand or tripod in order to not lose the focus.

Christos, you do great when dealing with the lens.

I do enjoy this picture. Excellent pov, composition and sharpness.

Colors are lovely too.

There seems to be some some little bit of noise on the background, but that's a minor nit.
