[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks, today I have this image of a moth to share , I really have no idea as to what kind it may be I never really got a look at anything more than its face peaking out from between the leaves to give me any clues on it's ID.

this photo was a little hard to get, to achieve exposure I needed to use my flash but the on board flash would not reach in between the leaves because it is to high , so to get a flash in to that area I resorted to using my speedlight in TTL wireless mode. not having my tripod handy I had to handhold both camera and speedlight , kind of an awkward situation but I managed after a couple of tries.

thanks for having a look
regards
Art

Hello Art,
this is an outsanding composition. Very abstract and very sharp shot of the frontal view.
Congratulations for managing such a special composition and putting it as a powerful and challenging presentation.
Bravo.

Hi Art,this sure is an interesting and rather unusual point of view for any photo I have ever seen on TrekNature or anywhere else for that matter,I like it!The focus is on the subject where it needs to be and the details captured are excellent for that, especially on the moth's antennae and eyes and like yourself,I haven't a clue as to what species you have photoed.Insects hold a fascination for me but I always get side tracked on the larger creatures nature has to offer, that is going to change as I, like you, like insects and everything else that lives here on our great old world.Art,thanks for giving us an unique point of view photo, your efforts are well rewarded.

Bob
