We had just been in Tortuguero park, a really beautiful area in the middle of nature. It's a park you can only get by boat. We were on our way to Limon and during the boattrip we say many animals. We also say this Three-toed Sloth, just hanging right above the water. We had to turn the boat around to go back and look at this interesting animal. Because they are so slow, we had enough time to watch it and take pictures of it before it disappeard into the tree.
It was a special moment observing this animal.

Hi, Annelies. What a cute one! Your three-toed sloth seems very happy with himself. Last summer we went to Tortuguero Park, and on our way there, the boat stopped at this place, where I took a picture of this three-toed sloth.
I wonder if it is the same guy, who finally made it down the tree. : )
Fantastically energetic pose for a sloth! TFS. : )
