Hi friends,

I just returned from a terrific but very short trip to the mountains where i got the chance to photograph a great deal of amazing places and scenes.
We packed our backpacks (a friend of mine and i) in the afternoon and drove for about 2 and a half hours till the base of the mountain and from then hiked up to about this point here, where we set our tent and started shooting.

This photo is actually from the following sunrise and gives you a nice view of what we saw from our bivouac :) (which was actually about 50 meters away).
This area here is at the border of the Apuseni Natural Park - a place of great beauty with, sadly, very bad management.

More photos to follow :)

Hope you'll like it, thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

Hi Horia,

This is lovely shot with long exposure. Very lovely landscape! I like this composition and lovely color patterns here

Kedar

A classic landscape image with a high level of aesthetics, Horia.
I particularly like the foreground with just the right amount of light to highlight the rich vegetation that makes a fantastic contrast with the hills still in silhouettes and the sky just lighting up with wisps of clouds illuminated by the rising sun yet beyond the horizon.
Great pleasure in looking at your work again.
Regards.
Ram

Hi Horia,
This looks great it is almost a painting. I like your composition very much, especially the light in the front and the dark trees in the back. Also the depth is very well shown with the mountains in the back. Great sky and colours.
Paula

Hi Horia,
I see that I have missed a whole lot of wonderful photos from you. I guess I have to invest some time to visit them all. I will promise that I will leave a mark on all of them.
This one has a wonderful feel of peace and serenity to it. The soft warm colors in the sky and the hazy look of the distant mountains is very beautiful. I like the way you have used the plant in the FG and how you left so much space on the left. The reverse grad did good, but I think that a normal grad would have been a better choise. If you has positioned it along the tree line of the hill you are standing on, so diagonal, you would have had more details and color in the right top of the photo.
TFS,
Niek
