[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While not a great shot technically, it is one that shows what a puffin must go through to bring his catch home (see my previous shot to see a closer view of a puffin with sand eels in flight).

Before making it home to an underground nest, he must pass through a gang of agressive gulls who come to steal his food. I'd often see the puffin reach his borrow entrance when a gull would grab him by the neck, pull him out and take all the fish.

Dear Dan,
An extraordinary action shot telling in great detail the story of the chased Puffin.

""Learning about nature through photography"" - the motto of TrekNature - is definitely met with this image.

Very interesting to watch the little puffin (with its funny face)against 5 big gulls with their beaks wide open and threatening body language, acting like vultures!!

Thanks for sharing
Greetings from South Africa
Ingrid
