This little bee resembles me a bit :).

Like it I have hard work whole summer and like it I work almost all time in my countryside house surrounded by charming and lovely for me wild habitants. Like it I have seldom opportunity to visit TN now :). (Unfortunately, I have not Internet their and can to share my shots and comments in the city only.)

Unlike it I have camera and can shoot all my wonderful neighbours and post their pictures.

I think this is Common Honeybee.

"There are many, many kinds (subspecies) of honeybees that inhabit the world from Italy, to Britain, to Ireland, to the United States. Every animal is taxonomically placed within a slot that helps scientists identify one species of animal from another, as seen on the left of your screen. This specific website is dedicated to the honeybee Apis mellifera.

Apis mellifera have compound eyes for seeing flowers. Bees are insensitive to the color red, but detect ultraviolet colors (Giger, 1995). Their antennae are used for detecting the fragrance of the flower. Their legs, used for gathering pollen, have a crop for transporting nectar, and a stinger for defense of the hive…" Apis mellifera.

Hallo Alexei,
what a fantastic capture of this little bee in-flight, outstanding sharpness with fine details, marvellous and brilliant colours, great timing and excellent POV in a very pleasing composition.
Best regards

Hallo Alexei
I am glad I saw this posting just as it appeared on the gallery. This is a super macro, with great details on the "motion" part of the bee in the air. It is just so well photographed that one cannot see the "motion" part taking place, except for two very fine white lines just above the bee’s wings. The clarity of the eyes the striped body and the hairiness on the chest is really great and such a pleasure to look at. I applause you for this great image. Great camerawork applied.
Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

The setting is beautiful and there is a marvelous 3D effect. Looks like the bee will fly right off the monitor.

Privet Alexei,

Fantastic post as always from You MF. You chose aperture and shutter speed the best way - the bee's sharp like a razorblade, and is in just the perfect place on the photo. :) Fabolous capture, but I should have cropped a little more from the oof red flower at the bottom. Otherwise a top notch image. Bravo.

Friendly regards, Vladyslav
