After seeing Jesús' (jlinaresp) today post and read how many butterflies he captured in his garden, I feel I have to share an image taken in the park nearby our block. This park, called People's Garden ("Népkert" in Hungarian) was established in the 1870's and having total territory of 56.921 square meters. Now a part of the downtown of Miskolc.

Since the beginning of 2008 until now I already detected 54 various fungi species (2 remained unidentified) in the park + 3 others in the cemetary bordering it (source: my diary about the fungi of Népkert). One of them is Lepista personata, the Field Blewit, a grassland species growing late autumn / early winter. Edible, fine. ID specification's easy due to the combination of cream-white / cream-yellow (sometimes pale purple) cap (see workshop) and purple stem. Although this is a common species in Hungary, I only found it once in the park - on the day when this photo was taken. Was growing on opened grassland (typical), just a few meters from a playground.

Presence on TN: from Lepista genus I found 3 images of L. nuda (2 are mine) and one of L. sordida, so this is the debut of Lepista personata (Fr.) Cooke on TrekNature. I hope You'll like it.

Hello Laszlo friend!

Wow! ... I'm glad I inspired a bit this picture! It is a fairy tale image! ... seems to go out through a small door dwarfs in the fungus! ... really deep, eloquent and impressive! ... I am glad that you also have on hand, diversity of specimens to photograph! ... we should thank God how one goes, walk a little, and already has a photo! Laszlo Bravo dear friend! ... beautiful work.

It may take your idea proposed about writing an article on the number of butterflies in my garden! ... in my country people are not very interested in this (and much less in my town) but will try to do something to serve! ... Just have I the chance, I will read (translated) your article whose link you sent, it is possible that this provides me ideas! ;)

Regards, and very, very thanks Laszlo friend!

Have a nice week!

Jesús

Hi Laszlo,

Jesus called this a fairy tale image. He is right - the first thing I thought of when I saw the shot was "Alice in Wonderland." The large mushroom is marvelous and creates a magical atmosphere. The setting is beautiful. Amazing colors, details and compositionk.

Hello Laszlo!

Good to see new specie from your local park. I like this kind of picture with foreground with main subject and great BG with blurred forest. Sunny and colorfull picture with autumnal mood.

I was busy for long time - did you still need help with Polish fungi club?

And I still didn't start 'grzyby' section on my www :-) But I take photos of them all the time.

Hi and Good Morning Bareatom,

Nice to see you again! As always you did this is also an outstanding macro, the details and colour looks very precise and accurate. Good job with the focus too. Your POV here is remarkable! Impressive job MF.
TFS and have a nice week!
Cheers,

Bayram

Witaj Wladyslaw,
We have such heat-wave that only near water there can easier to breathe. Your mushroom from last year is taken with very good low POV, nice natural environment. I like such composition.

Szia Laci!

Szép őszi hangulat, ragyogó részletek a lila tönkű pereszkében!

Great to see this image, well taken from a low POV to show the violet stem and pale gills of this Blewit. I also like the OOf habitat in the BG in a great composition.
We have these or an closely realted species growing near us and we like to eat them! I'll take pic before I pick it next time!

Hi dear Laszlo ,

As always so nice from you.
Great focus and nice light.

Very well done

Kind regards

Hello Laszlo.
I remember looking at some other Lepista photos in TN.
The problem is that is the name is not in the title, the search engine does not work. In fact this photo is not included if you make this search. In this moment only 5 are shown, but I am sure I have seen more Lepistas in TN.
It is a common specie here, when winter arrives. Last year I collected some L.nuda in a little oak forest I have in my house. Cris likes them more, I prefer other species :)
Congratulations for adding this new specie, as always clear, detailed and with wonderful enviroment.
Best regards, Felipe.

Namaste Laszlo,
great capture of this nice fungi with the backdrop of green field. Like the DOF and clarity very much. Great sharpness and attractive colours. Very well done. Tfs.
Best wishes.

Hi Laszlo.
This work is simply great. I lover a subject so much. POV is fantastic as well as reproduction of all details and features of the FG and wonderful mushroom and very poetic nicely blurred remote trees as a BG. Bravo. Creative, top quality work.

Hello Laszlo,
What a fantastic point of view you have chosen here! Makes the picture so interesting with the view on trees in fine light in the background. I also love this mix of fungi, grass and dead leaves in the foreground. Most beautiful. Thanks also for your kind critique on my butterfly picture.
Amitiés
