|Hi Folks , today I have this image of a Robber Fly to share. it is nice to see some of the predatory flies increasing in population to reduce the amount of pesky mosquitoes & horse flies that have been making trips to the woods a wee bit unpleasant.|
thanks for having a look , hope you like it :-)

I didn't know there were predatory flies out there! Wow! This is a fine macro presentation, Art. Intense details - especially the eyes and hairs on its legs. ICK factor extremely high, but I can't stop looking at it! :) Excellent work.
super macro with good details and beautiful colours
great sharpness and nice BG to see this robber very good
i love robberfly,s i have many picture,s and many differend sopecies found in greece
i send them on tn in the next weeks
Very nice Macro with a very subtle background and just the right points in focus, like the eyes and the front legs. The diminishing abdomen of the fly due to the DOF created a very good effect in the picture. Great composition.

Excellent close-up. Good sharpness, perfect exposure and fill flash is well mastered avoiding underexposed BG. An amazing close-up. Is that fly that big? Or did you use accessories (extender or cropping) to fill the frame? Nice work and TFS.
