|Taken off the Pacific Coast Highway. This was as close as I dared to get. If spooked, Pacific Common Seals will take to the water and even abandon their young. |
Females give birth once per year. The animals mate underwater and are polygamous.
The seals feed on the kelp and are preyed upon by Great Whites and Orcas.

Lovely. The fact that all seals, the sand and the sea itself are spotted grey is a plus. Very unic scene.
Seals have lovely faces too.
