[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , it has been a while since I have uploaded a flower photo so I decided on this one for today. out for a short trip to Frank Lake with hopes of some nice bird photo's , me and a friend found some of these rather tall sunflowers. I think this is called Nuttall's sunflower , and also gets called tall common sunflower.

I did get to see some heron , and pelican's but not much luck for photo's that day :-( , oh well maybe next time...

thanks for having a look

Hi Art.
My compliments and many thanks for nice picture. Its colouration is simply amazing as well as brilliant reproduction of all details and features of the fine flowers. Smoothness and colours of the BG are tremendous. Bravo. Well done.

Hi Art
In my opinion, you did well that you've posted a picture of some flowers. Vertical composition seems very well chosen, the colors are strong, but not overexposed, the details are perfect.
Best regards,

Bonjour Art,

Even if we can consider it as a simple subject, the photographic treatment here is well done and well acheived. Even at F/10 you got a nice blured BG due to its distance probably, but the slight tone variation creates a nice backdrop. The warm directional light gives nice volumes to the flowers without exagerated deep shadows. I also like the constance in colors and tone here where everything is in the yellow spectrum of light. And finally the 300mm lens is not a usual lens for flowers, most use the macro lens, but here are love the perspective and the "plane compression". Good work and TFS.
