First time on TN I think. This I dedicate to Prof. Bayram. Hope you will like.

There is no option named Arthropod in the category section so Insect.

Thelyphonida is an arachnid order comprising invertebrates commonly known as vinegarroons. They are often called uropygids in the scientific community after the former order Uropygi (which originally also included the order Schizomida). They are also known as whip scorpions because of their resemblance to true scorpions and because of their whiplike tails.

Hi Haraprasan.
You managed to picture a very attractive insect. Something similar (at least on shape) I have pictured in my garden. However, I am sure that was absolutely different insect. DOF is selected very well. All insect is in focus and all its features are reflected perfectly. Composition of the shot is spot on too. Well done and TFS.

Hi Haraprasan, great macro capture... pov, dof and composition are fine. Great dedication too.
TFS. Kind regards,

Hola Haraprasan

Vaya que scoprpion más extraño, no tiene el clasico aguijon de los escorpiones. Original animalito, perfecta composición y nitidez.

Un saludo de Antonio

Hi Haraprasan,

Congratulations on this first on TN. Seeing this scorpion reminds me that I haven't seen even one here this summer. We usually see lots of them - looks just like yours but ours are red. You captured him in a fine position to show off the entire insect. Excellent details and wonderful colors.

Hi Haraprasan.. Nice picture with very good pose. I like colors and composition.

Hello Haraprasan,
Very interesting posting. For me it's the first time I see such a creature.
Amazing specially the strange tail, like a whip. It seems that the size of these Uropygis is not very tall (ca 3cm?) Simple and natural shot for which I thank you.
Kind regards

Hi Haraprasan

What an interesting subject you present us here!
The distinct characteristic of this species are fascinating and thanks to your nice photo, so well visible here.
The composition is also good and captures the entire length of the scorpion's tail and legs, while the DOF is spot-on and keeps everything well in focus.
Well done!

Bravo and TFS

Namastay haraprasan,
I missed this superb capture of a Whip Scorpion taken from a fine POV with use of flash to show its features with excellent sharpness and colours against the soil.
Thanks for sharing this fine image that must be a first on TN!

Hallo Haraprasan,
a superb capture of this scorpion, very good sharpness and splendid natural colours in a nice composition, perfect POV showing well the features of this interesting insect
Best regards

You are placed in an environment richly endowed with wild life, HP. You have brought forth some exotic and rarely seen species of wild creatures from Orissa and this community should be grateful for that. I also feel that this 'Scorpion' is a first on TN.
Set against sandy soil, the subject stands out very well with perfect details on its body. The long tail is truly its unique feature.
Well done and thanks.

NAMASTAY my "dear" friend Haraprasan.
Have never in my life seen anything like this.
Thanks for sharing.
Mario with MOST FRIENDLY greetings.

Helow Haraprasan,
A unique image of this strange looking creature.

Hello Haraprasan,
a really feriociously looking creature that is missing in our part of the world, well taken in a frame filling way. Probably harmless to us I suppose, but I would feel urged to get into safe distance when seeing it. Might also be interesting to have some information of the estimated body length of that specimen presented here. Thank you for sharing!
With best regards,
