We get a glimpse of the lower wing too in this picture of the Baron lounging on the ground, Goldy.
I wonder whether it is the slightly greenish tongue of the butterfly hanging out of its face. It could be a tiny blade of grass too, no?
Very good details and colours on the wings.

Spot on sharp Goldy. A big difference in this view of the Mormon. And to boot you have used the sun to its fullest although use is not angle...the angle of the sun gives it some drama.

A fine macro-study and an excellent composition in pastel browns Goldy, the DOF encloses the whole b.fly and nothing else! I wonder why the BG between the legs is not in focus since it happens to be within the DOF zone...
