Stones are everywhere, they are
On the beach
And within us
And elsewhere too
Yet these stones belong
To nobody but the Earth
Spewed out from the crust of
The planet like so much
Cooling after aeons
Then crumbling to form
On a beach
Like rabbit droppings

Ciao Catherine. Fantastic in his semplicity. Very good idea!

This image is full of geology...and I mean full. I wish I knew more about it...but I see some volcanic rock there and many types which I do not know but look like the stuff jewelry makers work with when slabbed and cut. I would NOT be surprised if one might even pan some placer gold from this....wow!

cia Catherine!

Hi Cathy,

Very beautiful image, I feel like I'm there! Such live tones with the water, which seems to add more artistic way to the scene. Impressive work dear.

Bonsoir Catherine,
It is amazing how the action of water polishes the stones on the beach to reveal their colours and structure. This is a great capture of this natural phenomenon, an attractive display of colours with the water in action.
An atractive image that is great to view.
Thanks and cheers,

hello Catherine

Hi Catherine,
Artistic and natural, excellent work!

Hello Catherine,
I love pebbles!! The coast where we live is all sandy but a bit further south there are wonderful pebbles. As I walk on those beeches I always get a stiff neck beacause I can't stop admiring the pebbles! Your capture is lovely showing a beautiful range of colours and the wet look is so beautiful. Excellent sharpness and well framed too.
TFS and have a nice weekend, Ulla

Hy Catherine
So now you are experimenting abstract images! I must say that is a very pleasant view with all those colored stones and with the very clear water. I am wandering if a good geologist will be able to recognize different type or rocks from your image. Hm, but in the end, the oppinion of a geologist will remove the poetry of such calm and artistic image.
My kind regards,

Bonjour Catherine,
Voici un tableau, comme j'aime en faire de temps en temps.
Il est très réussi : les cailloux sont superbement rendus, et le mouvement de l'eau enveloppe le tout.
Bravo, amitiés

Hi Catherine. I like the artistic impression of this well defined shot. The shape of the pebbles is beautiful with traces of clear water in the frame. Stunning beauty presented with fine graphism. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Sunday. Best regards - Jusni.

Hi Cath,
I miss you dear... Hopefully you'll come back once. Fantastic photo, real Art of Minimalism. Bravo.
Best and friendly regards, László
