Taking photos of Jumping Spiders is new for me, but I like it. I think I could try (first buy good ones!) extension tubes to come closer and capture more details.

The male has a white-grey dorsal with two rust-brown hairy wide horizontal bands. Head part is hairy shiny black, with a few grey hairs laterally and erect black hair front. The female has a white-light grey face.

Hi and good morning Cathy,

Marvelous job as always, although the colours of this jumping spider really suits well with the BG, You've achieved to make it stand out against its surroundings well with the good use of the way of light. Incredible details and focus too. You really have a great skill for this type of photography. Well done my dearest friend!
TFS and have a nice weekend!

Hi Catherine,
A lovely capture of this beautiful jumping spider. Excellent sharp details with good composition. Perhaps a little more DOF was required here. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hello Catherine,

What an nice macro shot from this athletic (jumping) spider.
Very sharp with exellent details and good pov.
Fine colours.
I think I never been seen jumping spiders.

Olá Catherine

Excelente captura. Nitidez e composição em tons quase cinzentos ficaram magníficas neste macro. Parabéns.

Hello Catherine,
A superb macro of a Jumping Spider. Great that you could ID it, as spiders are nearly a total mystery to me.
The features are shown from a fine POV with excellent sharpness and DOF including the placing of one pair of eyes so far back!
Great to view!
Thanks and have a good weekend,

Hello Catherine,
another very interesting image of spider, light, colors and details very beautiful. Another nice picture. Best regards, Paolo

Ciao Catherine, great macro of lovely spider, fine details, splendid sharpness and wonderful light, very well done my friend, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Bonjour chere amie, Cathy
Thank you for showing this Jumping Spider in such details.

I do not like it very much, when they hop about in my bed - if one sleeps on top of them (by error) - they bites ""rows"" into the skin, and next morning one know who had shared the bed...

When I saw the thumbnail in the gallery, I thought it was a black/white image - but realised my error when viewing the photo.

Macro Photography has come a long way, and it adds to my admiration of Insect-Books illustrators, who do these detailed drawings/paintings.

Well done, my dear friend,
Bonne fin de la semaine
Love and a big hug

Ciao Catherine. An excellente macro shot in not so easy condition. Perfect sharp and details.

Hello Catherine, another great macro shot from a jumping spider. This is also sıperb. Nice composition, details and framing.
TFS and regards,

Close in. All of what Dr Bayram said adding that we have them here as well and it would take extreme patience for me...something the spiders do not seem to have.
