BUT I'M female GREAT EGG FLY
AND we mimic the common crows(Euplea core) for survival from our enemies. We are common to wild and village areas.in size we female dominate over males, but in beauty the male dominates. When open in sunlight there is blue violet shade on the upper side of the fore wings.
We show territorial behaviour, and chase other flies enter to it.and come back to the exact position. Sometimes we group on the floor Larva feeds on Laportea
Interupa, Sida Rombifolia etc. wing span 70-110mm
