Hi again,

I've been out these past two weeks to get some autumn shots and found a really cool forests where i could easily take many nice pics :)
Here i played around with my wide-angle lens and tried to see if i can exaggerate a bit the distortion effect it produces when focusing on a subject close-by. What i did is position myself almost flat on the ground, manual focus on a root in front of me and use a wide apreture.
Actually i quite liked the result and i was rather surprised to see that i've got such a big depth of field :)

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

I also have a TOTALLY NEW version of my website so feel free to check it out and see some more photos :

great sharpness

Hello Horia,
Nicely done. Great foreground effect through your wide angle lens.
Relatively short shutter speed. Apparently light is coming through these trees.
I also like the greenish root and rock composition.

I have always admired your landscapes; whether they be seascapes or forest or even roots. You have a very unique style coming from that sharp eye of yours. Keep on the good road!

Buna Horia,
Faina captura. Culori si detalii deosebite si nu in ultimul rand superangularul tau
face minuni.
Marius.

Hi Horia,
very good title for this picture. And very interesting view using wide lens.

Hola Horia

Efectivamente tienes razón, has conseguido una imagen muy buena y con una gran profundidad de campo, que ese es de lo que se trata, que puedas coger tanto la parte cercana como la lejana y has conseguido una imagen homogenea e impactante. Felicidades.

Un saludo de Antonio

Hi Horia
Certainly an unusual perspective in the wood.
