Uzun bir aradan sonra sizi TN'de tekrar gördüğüme sevindim Hocam. enfes kavkı serinizi de özlemiştim. sanırım 4-5 ay kadar oldu, en son kareden beri. tekrar hoşgeldiniz Hocam.
renkler, fon ve hele ki ışık kullanımız yakın çekimin usta ellerden çıktığını gösteriyor. açı ve pozlama da mükemmel. elinize sağlık.

As usual.... Great photo of this Giant Conch.
Peter should be very happy for this lovely present Iam sure.
Every time I can see one of this Queen conch I remember the Aztecs.
Aztecs used the shell as part of jewelry mosaics like the double-headed serpent.

A fine choice Mehmet!
The apertural side displays a fine range of subtel different pastel shades that culminate in a fine deep pink. The technical standard is up to your usual high with a fine contrasting Bg.
A fine show of colours, especially for those of us who live in the dark North.

In my church Peter is the rock or cornerstone and when I think shell, this is the cornerstone of shells. Done by a professor in the same method of rote needed to teach well....which you do so well. You teach many things beyond photography....you teach teaching...continuity, patience and so much more. You remain a valuable asset not only to TN but all of those willing to learn.

Zonguldak Biyolojik Çeşitliliği adında bir kitap çıkarmıştık. Çevre İl Müdürlüğü kitabın 2. baskısını yapmak istiyor. Bu kitapta Mollusca için de bir bölüm olması güzel olur aslında. Zonguldakta olması muhtemel türlerin bir listesini hazırlayabilirmisiniz, bu bölümü sizin güzel kareleriniz ile hazırlasak?

to be honest I first time see Your pictures (I have been in TN since 15th of October). You take beautiful and artistic photos. Especially my wife loves such a view of shells. Sometimes we are going for our holidays towards south. We were three times in Istambul, but we think about going somewhere else in Turkey to see for example such a shells. Great photo with amazing colours. Thanks for sharing,

Excting to find that thumbnail of an open conch in the gallery - and what a delight seeing it in all its splendour in full size! Having been absent from this site for several weeks due to pressure of work, I am happy for the holidays now, and looking into my TN friends' portfolios. Trying to catch up with what I have missed.
And then I read your dedication. Im am deeply touched by that, my dear friend. And I am feeling sorry that I have discovered it just today with so much time in beetween, and overdue to say thank you!
The pink and orange hues are offering an exquisitely appetizing, distinctly sexy kind of colour contrast, enhanced by those degrees of pink pastel colours before turning into shiningly white mother of pearl. No wonder these conches are seen in relation with aphrodite the goddess of love. What a delight!
