Verite suggested that I show more of the bird. So here is a New Holland Honeyeater striking a classic pose for us. There are a number of these birds, up to eight at a time, feeding in what I think is a Scented Paperbark (Melaleuca squarrosa)which is small tree with creamy or yellow flowers, small leaves and pale grey bark, which is found in whole Tasmania, and in the coastal areas of Victoria, eastern South Australia and southern New South Wales south of Sydney. |

Bonjour Lindsay,
Très bonne maitrise de la lumière et de la profondeur de champ valorisant bien le sujet dans son environnement.
A bientôt sur TN pour de nouvelles aventures.

Hallo Lindsay
This is really a special image and dedication. The colours and detail of the feathers, beak and eye is striking and the expression on the face priceless. The New Holland Honeyeater is is indeed a stunning bird, and you have captured it beautifully showing the vivid colours in its plumage to the best. The white flowers with their fine details is an additional bonus and compliments the photo well. Best regards and thanks for sharing.
