hello friends, i think you are upset
of my photo because in the thumbnail
the image quality it is much better
than here when you open the larger file !

this photo it is from my archives,
shot with my Nikon Coolpix P60 camera,
at that time it was a new buyed camera,
2 years later in august 2010 one day
that camera fell down from my hands
and since that day its autofocus
it is no more working well,
i can do photos with it, but no more
movement photos like this one

The Eastern Cottontail Rabbit

from New Hampshire Public Television website

« The eastern cottontails is
solitary and very territorial.
It is mostly nocturnal, but it
sometimes will come out in the
early morning and at dusk and
sometimes during the day on dark days.

The eastern cottontail can leap
distances of between 10 and 15 feet.
It will sometimes stand on its hind
feet to watch for predators like coyotes,
foxes, weasels, eagles and hawks.

When a predator is chasing it,
the eastern cottontail will often
leap from side to side to break
its scent trail. It can run at
speeds of up to 15 miles an hour. »

Merci

Asbed

Hello Asbed,
It's just great to get out a see wildlife don't you think. I have seen these little ones turn a corner at full speed on a dime, they are quick. Your image portraits that well my friend.

Hola Asbed.
Like this photo. I really like it.
You did a great work here. Rabbits run to fast and it is not easy to have a good photo like this one.
TFS My friend.
Luis52.

In news business this an editorial page hot. You have a rare and unique talent. I'd like to see if others can do this.

Even if you do post image under a different light I will recognize your signature here, friend Asbed. Bravo, thats unmistakable your work, no doubt! And .... do not even try to change that style dear friend, that's my advice!!! I do not care what Michel is saying there, that's his opinion, and this is mine. The sense of movement is well defined, and the image looks like a wonderful mixture between painting and photograph! How many of the hundreds entries around can received such a label!? The only thing which is a bit strange for your style is the enhanced color saturation. In my opinion of course! Bravo Asbed! No1 stuff!

George Veltchev

Hello Asbed.
Nice catch at the running rabbit here.
You caught the rabbit just on time before disappearing behind the bush.
The motion blur is nice signifying the speed.
Thanks and kind regards,
Jusni

Hello Asbed,
Of course if the viewer wanted to see a perfectly sharp portait of a Cottontail I might have rated this shot in the same way as Michel. But for me the appeal of this image is the movement, especially the circular movement of the hindleg. The colours and composition in the natural habitat also add to the appeal.
Thanks and kind regards,
Ivan

Hello Asbed,
In 1/125 sec. you can't expect a sharp photo of a running rabbit. Nice photo with a bit of overexposed colours in the grass. But evenso it is pleasing to look at.

Peter

Hello Asbed,
yeah...very difficult to capture this rabbit in full throttle.
Beautiful light effect upon the blurry grass.
good style too.

Foozi

Good placement of your subject in the frame, and I enjoy the setting..
I've never tried to shoot a running rabbit @ 1/125th, good attempt!
TFS.

Ciao Asbed, great capture of running rabbit, not easy shoot, great movie effect, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Asbed,
If something is moving in the picture, then it is a picture of Asbed! :)
Congratulations, I like when you do this!
Although the color is a bit warmer than usual, the image of the rabbit in motion is a delight!
Regards, TFS

Hi Asbed,
interesting photo which shows an action. Great colours. It's blurred, but it shows movement,
thanks for sharing

Hi Asbed,

As i say always about your all of your captures, i like their moods as is here. I do not care their technical quality. I am pretty sure that you know the reality: a high speed shutter speed can freeze the movement.
TFS this live image. Have a nice night!

Una bonita y original captura donde destaca su gran dinamismo.

Hallo Asbed,
i share Ivan's critique, it is a great capture with a pleasant visual impression

Hello Asbed,
You always have an interesting image to share, even though they don't always have that super fine detail that is often sought after. You have a talent and style that is all your own, and this is what I find so fascinating about your images.
I would hate to see what I would come up with if I tried to capture a speeding rabbit using a shutter speed of 1/125 of a second. You did quite well on this shot with what you had to work with. TFS.

Salut Asbed

Excellante capture du lapin qui court. Bonne demontration de capture en mouvement. Belle creature fugitive.

Mario

Bonjour Asbed,

La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du lapin en mouvement. Il essaye de rejpoindre la tortue. La végétation cadre vien l'animal. La lumière a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.
