Angelcomb Peak and the Blackstone River are at a small pass at roughly Kilometer 82 along the Dempster Highway in central Yukon Territory in Tombstone Territorial Park.
There is a fairly easy trail to reach it's summit that begins near the pass. This area is well known for it's Dahl Sheep population. My wife also saw a grizzly bear with binoculars from a distance as I was taking this pano shot.
This is a 6 shot pano compilation.

Hi Tim,

Its a beautiful landscape. The panorama compilation is done very well, doesn't give any feeling that its a 6 shot compilation.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Tim

Good landscape shot of the Yukon. I like teh rainbow on the left and dramatic clouds.

Hallo Tim
Spectacular! I want to go here. It is a grand place and a wonderful photograph of pure beauty! So clean and refreshing looking! Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Splendid Landscape!

That's a beautiful view, great color on the grass and the clouds really set the mood. I really enjoy wide open spaces. Have fun on your backpacking and hiking adventures.
Have a merry Christmas.

Excellent DOF, sharpness and colors. Love that rainbow to the left-center of the image. One can literally feel the wind whipping across this landsscape. The play of light and shadows has been brought out very well. Congrats on getting this pic. TFS!

Hi Tim,

they don't seem at all 6 panos.Colours are wonderful, well saturated, and the landscape is imposing, conveying a pleasant feeling of silent loneliness.I really like the foreground's details.

This looks like super high definition image Tim! Amazing color gamut, fantastic vivid colors, great depth of field and tons of fine detail. Bravo! That's truly spectacular!

Hi Tim,

I haven't posted anything on TN for a few years but happened to come across this great shot of yours. It caught my attention because we were there on the exact same day! Weren't the colors wonderful!? We too had hoped to see dall sheep and grizzlies there as friends had, but no luck. Got great sheep shots in Denali. We won the lottery so got to drive our own vehicle and sheep were right by the road!.

Your photo is stunning and the composite perfect. Do you take the images horizontal or vertical. I've been told vertical is best.. less distortion.. but I haven't practiced it much.

Hello Tim!
Amazing landscape. Wonderful brightness and colours, superb saturation. Excellent long and wide perspective.
Good exposure and capture.
Interesting note.
Well done!

Your photos are so very good and I am in extensive rehab right now so yours might be among the only ones I have time for.....and by the way, I did go back and made the last into my wallpaper. My iPad has no place for such, so just know that I would do same for this one!
