[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another pic clicked on my old Blackberry 9700. I really admired its camera feature for the image quality.
Coming back to this image, I was driving to office via Van Brackle Road in Holmdel/Morganville area in Monmouth County, NJ. It was a clear day after what had been a severe snowstorm in Central NJ. We had around 2 feet of snow in just 24 hours. Arriving into this area, I was immensely taken in by the light and stretching shadows. I tried parking the car to the side and then clicked this pic. This remains amongst my favorites clicked that day.
And going by @marhowie's suggestion, I have used a 3:2 ratio in this picture. Eliminated some dark shadows in the lower right hand corner.
Let it snow! Let it snow!! Let it snow!!!
Merry Christmas everyone. |

Hi Gaj,
very nice and interesting winter landscape. Nice composition and great sharpness. I love landscapes at all.
Thanks for sharing,
Marry Christmas to You,
Maciek from Poland
The trees, fence and fresh snow is a lovely combination. Personally I'd crop out the sides (sunlight and disturbed snow)to keep the composition simpler and give more attention to the trees etc.
