frozen with snow
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I haven't been taking a lot of photos recently except for a few shots to put in my IMAGEKIND store gallery on churches and one in my diner gallery for a future book or two. |
Been spending some time learning my new camera and lens which I hope to start using a lot after April of this year. At that time I hope to have a new computer system and the latest version of Photoshop to finally start working in RAW. I have to say, however, that I will not abandon my current Lumix P&S camera. I still love this "outdated" gem. :)
I took my Lumix along with me when my wife and I did some shopping today (or should I say... she shopped while I read and took a few quick photos).
This capture was taken from one side of a huge mountain of plowed snow in the parking lot. I still love to find images in the common, overlooked scenes around us.

Taken hand-held, auto everything, 12X zoom partially extended on an overcast afternoon. Some PP work in Photoshop CS2.

interesting shot, doesn't show too much of nature but I like the composition and the fact that you made it black/white.
