hello friends, not having a camera
for new photos in the last weeks
with today's photo it is my 25th
one from my archives but everything
has an end and today it is the end

i still have some photos in my archives
but i will post them in special occasion
postings like my next posting will be only
in a couple of weeks on Valentine's Day
« a couple of mallards in-flight »

as you see this photo was shot in autumn 2008,
that season with my small Nikon Coolpix P60
i did my best photos of mallards in-flight

from New Hampshire Public Television website

« After the mating season is over,
some mallards in colder climates migrate
in flocks to their wintering grounds.
Other mallards in warmer areas where there
is plenty of food will stay year-round. »

Merci

Asbed

Hello Asbed,
Maybe the composition is a bit too central but it is a fine capture of a female Mallard in flight.
Excellent sharpness, natural colours, especially the OOF skty and autumn tree BG.
Thanks and have a good weekend,
Ivan

Hello Asbed,
Very nice photo of this mallard in flight. Excellent sharpness and a beautiful colours. The composition is a bit too centred. Good DOF.
Regards,
Peter

You remember that this is my favorite duck? My father had paintings such as your image all over the cabin where I was born and grew till age eleven. A wonderful shot. I love this one especially much. It s only till Feb 2nd till my fathers birthday. He was born in 1913 and died in 1995. When he died, a whole world of nature information was lost to me. Thanks for the memory.
Bob

Hi Asbed
another great flight shot with just perfect sharpness of the bird and nice blurred bg
may I suggest to put the mallard closer to the right border flying into the scene, it may be more dynamic
Looking forward to Valentine's Day ;-)

Bonjour Asbed,

Anne

Hello Asbed,
your skill for the inflight capture is lovely. Excellent sharpness and the details are well preserved.
i like the details and the features of the mallard.
Well presented view.

Hallo Asbed
I like this image for many reasons, but mostly for the artistic feel one get looking at it, then also seperation of the two layers you managed to capture in the scene, namely sky and bush with the mallard in the middle of it. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Anna

Hi Asbed!
Great capture!! Perfect focus on the mallard in flight! and very good contrast against the blurred BG.
Beautiful warm colours.
Congratulations Asbed.
Ciao! Vanda

Bonjour Asbed,

Tu as bien capturé le canard en vol. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du canard colvert en vol. Le flou de l'arrière-plan met en évidence le canard. La qualité de la lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Pierre

hello Asbed, beautiful flight scene and photo, I like your POV, create a panoramic traveling sense!

Hello Asbed,

This is a very pleasing autumn composition of my favourite time of year. I like the abstract of the autumn foliage in contrast with greyish-blue sky. The mallard is sharp & well positioned in the image. Very well done!

Regards,

Derek
