Hi Robert,
I love your Blue Jay. It has just an extraorinary blue color. Good shot of its eye and you have nice focus and details. However the back ground is a bit over-exposed from the light shining through the trees. It is really difficult shooting these shy birds in and around the trees. If you have a lot of birds hanging around set up your shot. You can manipulate these birds with unsalted Peanuts, its like Crack to Blue Jays. Place the peanuts at the base of say a 6' stump in a place with good light and a good back ground and they will come. They will land on the stump first before hitting the ground and you will have your shot. I learned this in an issue of Birds and Blooms. You should expand your notes.
