Location: This shot was taken during the Monsoons in the Sahyadri mountains part of the Western Ghats near a place called Amba Ghat where the Sahyadri mountain range drops down to meet the Arabian Sea. It was early morning and the sun was just about breaking through the clouds and a gentle breeze swayed this little beauty.

Scutelleridae is a family of true bugs. They are commonly known as jewel bugs or metallic shield bugs due to their often brilliant coloration. They are also known as shield-backed bugs.

Hi Himanshu
What a splendid capture of that green bug. Razor-sharp details, rich colors, beautiful backdrop and a very good composition and crop.
Nicely done
