Sweet shot, Christian. The fly is a bonus, and sharp. The dof is nice - fadinf to sharp to fading, tyoical for macro shots. More info on the flower, and matbe the beastie, would be welcome.

Good image of this alpine pink the hoverfly is not bad either gives a sence of scale. what lets you down is the lack of notes to help explain about its habit, how you took the image and what you did to it afterwards to prepare it for viewing here. This part of the TN philosophy to help other learn about our natural world.

Suiperbe image, Christian! La profondeur de champ est parfaite et cet insecte ajoute beaucoup à la photo. Bien vu!

Very good composition Christian,
I like it, good colours sharp, exelent. One thing, I thin that you had cropp it an the right side. Very good job.

Very nice photo. Love the colour of the flower and the detail of the fly. Because i do not come from your neck of the woods the flower and fly are new to me and it would be most appreciated if you could share a note or two on them. Nice macro thought, very nice.

Joli cliché, Christian.
Je rejoint entièrement Robert : PDC exemplaire qui met parfaitement le sujet en valeur, et ce petit diptère ajoute à la compo.
Félicitation.

Hi Christian! I do not have the time to write a complete comment. First one on TN: too much centered. La fleur, bien sûr, pas la mouche.

Thank you for sharing picture and 'note' and for the enjoyment which they give to me.
