Lilac-banded Longtail - (Urbanus dorantes)

Hello friends!

I've been since 2009 photographing this butterfly in this kind of flowers this year for the first time, these flowers were born in my garden and not on the mountain. I brought seeds of this plant to my house in 2010, during the dry season, I cultivated the seeds until they germinate in small bags of potting soil, now I have five large plants with red flowers in my garden and I am saving seeds again. I do not know the ID of this plant, but I have the ID of the skipper this reappears every year in my region.

Regards,

Jesús

Interesting species with this charismatic swallow tail ...at least strange for me, friend Jesus! How are you? Good! Pin sharp focus on the skipper and amazing clarity on its wings. Good! The chosen point of view, can not be better in my opinion! What a breathtaking depth of field! Good!

P.S. Have you seen the reviews for the ever growing four/third mirrorless cameras. This maybe a good cheaper alternative to the APS-C DSLR's! ..the lenses are smaller, and cheaper and most models has a sensor equal to the above bigger brothers!

George Veltchev
