Ophrys incubacea is a quite slender orchid, easily recognizable with almost black flowers in contrast to the green stem and perianth.

The lip bears well developed protuberances, hairy on the external side. The lip edges are directed backward and show a plentiful pilosity. The bluish mirror is shaped as a very long "H".

This Ophrys blooms from March to May.

very nice and well exposed image of this orchid with good sharpness and details, good strong composition, lovely natural colours!!!
