Nigella latisecta P.H. Davis [EN:] Devil-in-a-bush or love in a mist [TR:] Çörekotu

Description: Plant glabrescent, 15-50 cm, with ascending branches (facies of N. orientalis). Leaves with fewer and broader laciniae (the terminal being linear-oblanceolate, 2-6 mm broad and larger than the lateral), and sepals broadly ovate-elliptic and shortly clawed. Flowers loosely involucrate. Flowers and fruits naked. Sepals greenish-yellow, oblong, scarcely clawed. Lower lip of petals with each lobe produced into a long, filiform, pilose appendage. Follicles 2-12, compressed, oblong, with 3 abaxial nerves, smooth, united at least to the middle, scarcely divergent, usually 1.5-2 x the styles. Seeds discoid.

Flowering: 5-7.

Habitat: Dry slopes and fallow fields.

Altitude: 800-1850 m.

such a lively shot with the sky as its background. The sharpness is so good and the artistic scene is very pleasant.
