Hallo Jesus
Now this is what I call a wow image. A really super macro with lots and lots of detail to appreciate. Not only is the Ceraunus Blue truly beautiful, the image as a whole is presented in an excellent manner that is proof of superb photographic skills. I like this one a lot, the focus cannot be better. Excellent capture in the early morning light of this resting small lycaenid, with a wonderful effect, highlighting the butterfly and its resting place with fine sharpness and colours against a clean BG in a pleasing composition.

An excellent macro. Beautiful artistic composition. Perfect capture sharp details on this very nice small butterfly. The exact depth of field separates perfectly the butterfly from blurred background. Light and colors are amazing.
Just a small correction, you wrote Olympus and also Nikon :-)

Gracias por tus siempre instructivos comentarios Jesús. Esta Canon a veces
hace cosas rarillas pero en general es una cámara para tontos que digo yo, ya que hagas lo
que hagas en modo automático da resultados más que aceptables. El zoom es simplemente brutal:
800 mm que se alargan creo que a 1200 en modo digital ( no se como va pero va por ahí el tema :-)
A 800 mm y sin necesidad de trípode (tiene estabilizador) si hay buena luz consigue unas tomas de miedo.
Yo compro las cámaras en Andorra, un pequeño País que lo tengo a una hora y media de carro y ahora debe
estar a poco más de 350 Euros (algo más de 500 dólares USA). Para que te hagas una idea de referencias, eso es la tercera parte de un salario mensual medio-bajo aquí de un obrero. Sorry por el rollo, no se si te interesa !

Tu toma soberbia, sobre todo por la luz en todo el plano del motivo principal. Es de esas tomas
simples a la vez que efectivas... para aprender alguno como yo jeje.

Nunca he usado un filtro,ni flash, ni estabilizador ni trípode en ninguna de mis tomas; más
por toreza que por ganas pero ya sabes que yo voy un poco "por libre".

A new camera - a DSLR - congratulations and enjoy it! Didn't take you long to become expert with it. This Blue is just beautiful and as crisp and as clear as can be. You captured it in a marvelous position with fine colors and superb details. A very beautiful picture with a lovely background and a superb composition.
