Dislivello totale in salita: 1057 metri.

After one month break is hard coming back in TN.I read some dispute between users, i saw some too yellow photos, the usual in short....Maybe due to the "searing" heat of these days i had difficulty in choosing a photo to post tonight.I opted for this one that completes the previous mine picture depicting this place as if were a kind of taboo for me.At last, at the fourth time, i managed to get on the summit with no problems at all.Short description of this place: the Alpe of Succiso (2017 meters -5649 feet- above sea level) is the highest peak of a ridge that was affected by a large glacier in the late Quaternary (Wurm glacial period, 110.000-9600 b.C.).This, retreating, left a large cirque and some relict of glacier in historical era (it can be deduced from some place-name).This region, typically Apennine, is characterized by steep and rocky cliffsides and wide prairies and heath of bilberry. The cliffside opposite to the one shown in this picture dips steeply into the valley with sandstone outcrops with an almost vertical surface. In this photo you can see the ridge in its entirety that can be covered in about one hour with a rise of 50 metres (140 feet) and a drop of 300 metres (840 feet). The view from the summit (often there you can find herds of goats, also euphemistically speaking) is outstanding. From Succiso Nuovo (Ramiseto-Reggio Emilia) the peak is reachable in 3-4 hours by a trail for practised hikers.Total ascent: 1057 metres - 2960 feet.

Bonjour Alessio,

Hello Alessio,
I am not a landscape photographer, but, what I see here is an exposure with excellent detail and colour. Great achievement my friend!!! Well done!
Best regards,
Carl
PS.
If my photos were too yellow, it was because it was taken in Etosha, Namibia in the dry season.

Hello Alessio,
A beautiful panoramic view of the summit. I would imagine the air was pure and clean from this elevation. I'm glad you included some people in the shot as it helps to get a perspective of the overall size of the peaks. Nicely composed and containing fine detail and attractive coloration. Great notes! Well done!!

Hello Alessio.
What a beautiful landscape this is. The sharpness and detail in the mountains are outstanding.
Best regards Siggi

Ciao Alessio,
Beautiful mountain chains, the semi-diagonal composition you used also works for me. Good use of lights and effective crop with panoramic format (why didn't you upload a large version also?). But the people should have been cloned out. Otherwise a very suggestive shot. Tfs.
Have a prosperous new year, best regards, László

Thanks for your kind comment on my landscape picture in LP format, Alessio.
I was expecting to see an LP version of this picture, going by the thumbnail shape of it in the gallery. All the same, it is a beautiful landscape. The highest point you climbed on this ridge does not look daunting by Himalayan standards. The entire ridge looks very shapely.
Thanks for sharing this vista of mountains in your country.
Regards.
Ram
