[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are almost two dozen(acer) Maple trees in North America. This is one of three which have grown for many decades near my place of residence. Now that my trips are limited to how far I can go in a wheelchair, I miss my trips to the country to see the large fields of mountains of maples... however I am lucky enough to have these which turn lovely shades in the winter. In this image the light is shining from the other side as I shot through to the colours. It has a feel of the season that only some can image...

Hello Bob,
The attractive backlighting is what makes this such a special image. I at first thought there were two trees in this composition, but I see it is the sun hitting the back branches that gives some of the leaves that beautiful yellowish glow. Love the areas of bright blue sky and the super sharp focus.

Ciao Bob, splendid light on beautiful maple tree, lovely composition with wonderful autumnal colors, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Bob,
Yes, the colors of autumnal leaves illuminated by back-light are really something magical..I'm chasing them too :-)
This tree seems to be huge!! And we can seee the different colorations of the leaves.

Hello Bob

I love that the leafs are covering all the frame,
with the back-lighting effect you managed
superbly your camera to obtain details of the
foreground trees, the leafs in details and the
branches in silhouettes it also gives a nice
