[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Found this little fella just outside my door the other day and even though I think spiders are somewhat creepy I must admit that they can be very pretty indeed... Should probably have used a higher f-stop to get the tips of the legs completly focused too but I reckoned that the body was more important here...

Hi Karsten,
pretty spider, not easy to get sharp everywhere.
I also tried a shot of such a spider a few hours ago and had the same problem.
Higher lens aperture would bring more DOF, but than the light is often missing. I also try and try to find the best settings, but your shot is a good one, I like it. So many hairs on this spider, brrrrr, I don't like them so much. The last days we had 2 big ones in our sleeping-room, so I cried so loud for my husband, I had no interest to make a shot!!!
