Beautiful! I love scenes like these. Did you use a tripod or is this handheld? This seems as though it would be a questionable hand held with an iso setting of 200. You got great detail in the snow as I can see the texture throughout. Well done. :)

This could be just about anywhere here in Ohio, as we had a big snow storm move in yesterday. What I like about days like this is you can go out and find tracks of all the nocturnal animals that were out and about the night before.
Wonderful exposure and nicely composed image. Sounds like you are having some really cold days. Your right, if your dressed appropriately the cold is no big deal.

What I love on this shot is the silence transmitted by it. You also have well chosen the composition even if I would have taken the whole image very slightly towards the right. Love the grey color of the frozen water.
