|This picture was taken in Redwood National Forest just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Fransisco. For some reason, when I uploaded it, it came up as Canada and I cannot change it!? |
Anyhoo, it was with the D60, 18-55 standard lens. I wandered through that park for almost a day. First time ever seeing trees like that.
I like how the sun re-inforces the idea of how much energy is needed to make things this huge!
And apologies about the size of the las one, I'm still learning how to re-size and am apparently, not too good at it!!

Difficult but nice shot Mark. With the backlighting, getting the exposure right on the front of the trunks is tough, but you have good detail here. You have some burn on the top right, but there is still sufficient detail seen with the backlit leaves here to leave a pleasing photograph.
