[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The spermophile with mante gilded or spermophile striped. The striped spermophile is a species solitary of small size and thus called because of its bands blanchâtres. Of a weight from 150 to 340 grams (5 to 9 OZ). Of a size of: 11 to 15 cm, excluding the tail from 6 to 12 cm (4,5 to 6 Po, excluding the tail from 2,5 to 5 Po). Its peeling of brown dark is decorated from 13 to 15 bands blanchâtres on the sides and the back. One especially finds it in the plains of the Meadows. The entries of the burrows, which it arranges in short grass zones, are well dissimulated. The striped spermophile nourishes seeds, insects and at the time of other small mammals.

Sorry, not time to do a proper critique as I am sneaking this in while at work, but enough time to see that this is an excellent shot with good detail. TFS.
