Chequered skipper (carterocphlus palaemon)
wing span 2.5cm - 3cm.
Flight is very rapid. very active.
Feed while hanging upside down from flowers.
Most wanted food is nectar from flower.
I found it in my fruit garden, East Kalimantan.

NIce work Hasan. The presentation is good with the 4 images in a square. I think the greens are a bit over satuarated. Good work and nice selection of views.
les couleurs est vraiment trop saturer je trouve....
dommage car la presentation et le specimen sont exelent !

Good set of shots! Fascinating to see a familiar species, but taken on nearly the other side of the world - the Chequered Skipper occurs here in the UK too, although I think the default patterning is slightly different on our subspecies. Good focus/DOF although the bottom right image looks less sharp than the rest, a useful note too. Nicely captured :-D

Bonita composicion Hasan... la combinacion de los 4 cuadros permite visualizar al insecto en distintas perspectivas.
El colorido es agradable, pero el foco no es el apropiado en todos las vistas.
Buen intento de todas formas.
