Hallo Anne,
von einem Schwärmer wollte ich gestern auch eine Aufnahme machen, aber bis ich die ISO hochgestellt hatte, um einen schnelleren Verschluss benutzen zu können, war der Schwärmer auch schon wieder weg. Dir ist hier ein toller Schnappschuß mit guter Schärfe und tollen Farben gelungen. Auch die Belichtung hast Du richtig gut hinbekommen. Mein Kompliment!

What a great moment very well captured!! I love these little insects as they come whizzing by! I Like the timing and the fine sharp details of abdumen and wings - nice spacing from the white flower too. Brilliant!

Bonjour Anne,
A super-sharp capture of Hemaris tityus (no 'r'). The POV is great and shows its features with top sharpness and good colours, though I feel it is a little too dark. This is due to the strong contrast with the white flowers.
Excellent composition too.
So I hope you don't mind a try in the WS!

This creature is absolutely one of the most unique, hence it remains a favorite of mine. I have seen so few, but perhaps that has hanged during my absence... yet this one has made up for it all.. the white flora just makes it so perfect.. once more and again it is your special touch... I simply long to do so well with my eyes...keep on teaching me Anne. I always am willing to learn through your work.

You could beautifully manage to freeze the moment nicely, Anne!

The details on the hawk moth are superb however, a boost in the contrast might have made this picture even more eye-catching IMHO. Other than that, a real beauty you have captured in this well focused and sharp shot.
