Ficus guaranitica. A tree in the Forest of Avaré (horto) known as fig.

Dic. Aurélio: "Gender of trees and bushes of the family of the moráceas, all lactescentes, characterized by conspicuous estípula and small flowers, unissexuais; a lot of species are caulifloras"

http://www.floratiete.com.br/biblioteca.htm: They are found with a lot of frequency in the several forest formations of the State of São Paulo and they can be observed, especially, in the forests that border the rivers (ciliary forests). the fructification of some species happen after 3 to 4 years of the planting, and their seeds are disseminated thoroughly by the birds and monkeys. The development of the plants, in the field, it is considered fast. The planting of figs in the edge of the rivers is very important, because, besides supplying food to the wild fauna, their fruits are intensely consumed by the fish, as the pacu, the piapara, the piracanjuba, besides other."

The one that more got the attention is the form of his/her trunk-root, it is sculpted by the man! He/she reminds a wood stairway. They are interlinked ramifications. Very interesting!
This "piece" doesn't have be 3 meters tall.

Your opinion is very important.

Thank you!

Muito tétrico pro meu gosto. A foto tecnicamente está boa. Nitidez e composição. Muito verde até limo tem!

Boa imagem Reynaldo,

Very nice shot :-))

wow,
Parece que se estão a abraçar ... esta árvore deve estar ai a algum tempo! Bonita Perspectiva! Fica bem Ana:)
