|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This Allium is endemic to Mt. Carmel. It blooms in September into October, when most all other underbrush of the Maquis vegetation is dry. The plant is no more than 50 cm tall. The buds and fertilized flowers point upwards, which the open flowers bend down. The flowers are are quite small, with petals about 6-8 mm long. Like many other plants of the dry season, it blooms long after its leaves have dried.|
Another specimen may be seen in the WS.
