[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The high road to Sach Pass at 14000 ft in district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh is a rugged dirt road that gets buried under snow during long winter season.
This is how it looked in the month of June last year when I walked up it with my school boys. You can see that a snow cutting machine has dug it out freshly.

Sach Pass remains open to traffic from August to November and is a vital link between the district capital and one of its remote valleys that goes by the name of Pangi.

Please look at the LP version if I succeed in uploading it. Thanks.

Dear Mr. Ram,
Good panorama-sized image, the LV is even fantastic with great details. I also like the layers of mountains in the background very much. Nice job, get my congratulations.

Hello Ram,
This could be a shot taken in my country! But you have taken it in June, what means that it was at quite high altitude.(I always forget about feet-mesures)
Ideal tight horizontal framing, fine colors and a well chosen point of view.
Have a nice weekend
Kind regards
Anne

Hallo Ram
Brrr, this looks very cold and I would not like to drive on that road going through the pass as it looks very slippery and wet. I really like the point of view of this image with the road leading towards the mountains where the road seems to "stop" at the horizon. The shape and colours of the mountains in the background is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Anna

What a difference this LV format reveals Mr. Thakur ... tons of incredible detail, just makes you study every inch of this frozen landscape with such an interest. Seemingly simple but yet so fascinating !
