You captured this Blue-eared Kingfisher in a great pose showing the details of brightly coloured wings beautifully. The fish in its beak is an additional bonus and a delightful one too. Not that I am delighted to see a dead fishy but a delight to see that the kingfisher caught himself a meal. Pleasant point of view and framing. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

These Kingfishers must have excellent dexterity in there beaks. Wonder how many times they "drop" their fish?! Very nice image with great POV which shows a linear effect, i.e., long beak, head, body and single limb all going the same direction. Interesting to see the water droplets adhering to the breast area!! Nice work. TFS

Very nice picture of this colourful bird you captured very well in a perfect moment. colour and sharpness is very good. Perfect light also.
Regarding the ID it is a Common Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) not the Blue-eared Kingfisher (Alcedo meninting). Orange colour below the eye is the main character of the Common Kingfisher. Please verify.
