Thanks for the New year gift.
it is really a rare and new species.
nice picture with great clarity, colour and light.
What a beautiful fungus with its off-white colour and lovely texture under the hood. I also like the natural sunlight in the image that lighten up all the beautiful details and colours to the best. The greenery around the fungus is striking and the contrast of colours great. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Very interesting fungus. You have used light beautifully to capture all the fine detail and provided a dark background to define its features.

Like little white statues standing guard in the woods, so are these beautiful fungi of yours. Love the very low POV you chose as it gives them the illusion of being great towers on the forest floor.
Excellent detail and just the right exposure makes this an eye catching image and one to be proud of. Well done!!

You exposure sensitivity is well shown here with great use of flash to show the ventral surface and gills with top sharpness and lighting.

I have captured something like this but the white was burnt with no details left in the frame. I like the details with gills and lichen on the trunk.
Excellent image and thanks for sharing.
