[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a bird I had only seen from a long distance before. Most ducks in the wild are very nervous and flighty, having no doubt experienced being shot at. But a just few weeks ago I visited the Riefel Bird Sanctuary in Ladner, B.C. You pay a small fee at the entrance, and if you wish you can buy bird seed, so the birds are used to being fed. Not sure I feel comfortable with how tame they had become, but it was sure nice to be able to get good close shots of birds I've had on the top of my 'want list' for years.

Hello Shelley,
Welcome to TN. Beautiful portrait of interesting duck.

Hi Shelley

great start with a beautiful Pintail drake
one suggestion would be to lower your pov (point of view) to improve the compo (easy said but not always possible I know)

相片照的很安祥 也很清晰
