A real beauty!
The Grey Hypocolius is always a target bird for birdwatchers travelling to Oman from Sweden, though I am now too old to take such a trip.
Excellent pose, POV, colours, sharpness and composition with the acacia branches.

I can only add to the comments already posted by saying that this is a beautiful image of the Hypocolius. The late afternoon lighting gives fine side-lighting, and the catch-light, which is so necessary to capture on a bird with a black eye set in black plumage, is just perfect. Focus is perfect too, and the overall result is a lovely, natural and vivid portrait of this elegant bird.

I am so glad to read that you had a great trip and that all went well. You really must have a very interesting job, to do scientific observations but also have the oppertunity to take great images such as this Hypocolius ampelinus. This surely is a beauty with prominent markings and features that is well seen. I also like the whole setting very much and the thorn tree in which you captured this bird adds to the beauty of this great image. Hi Ahmet,

You're capturing well this bied by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the Hypocolius ampelinus with dark face mask and head/back/belly/tail with grey-yellow. It's impressive in a short beak, too. And, the surrounding sprig with small yellow leaf draws out a good effect in this image.
